Well, now it’s finally time to sell my much loved home unit / apartment at 5/67 Canadian Bay Road, Mount Eliza VIC 3930, Australia. I’m moving with my partner into a large house on a half-acre block in Frankston South, not very far away! And so, I’ve put my Mount Eliza home unit on the market.

Mount Eliza Unit History

I work in Mount Eliza at The Peninsula School, and I’d rented in the Mount Eliza area for a few years before finally purchasing my home unit. It’s been a delightful place to live, especially as it’s so close to the beach, the Mount Eliza Village shops, and my work.

Yes, being close to the beach is important! I’m a water babe who has always lived near the beach and spent plenty of time in the water all year long. I typically head off for one holiday a year to go boogie boarding on Australia’s east coast. And if possible, I also like to get away for a scuba diving holiday as well. From the unit in Mount Eliza, the beach is just a delightful walk away, so it’s easy to get my salt water fix.

When I first moved in to the apartment a few years ago, the bathroom, laundry and kitchen all needed a bit of a renovation to bring them up-to-speed. This was all done by a great team of highly professional trades people, and the result is simply fantastic!

The week I moved in to my home unit, I also met my partner and soul mate Lloyd Borrett. I soon ended up spending more time at Lloyd’s place in Cranbourne North, than at my Mount Eliza unit.

My musician son moved into the Mount Eliza apartment. He works through the nights on weekends and needs to sleep during the following day. He found the home unit, the neighbours and the Mount Eliza Village area so peaceful, he could finally get a sound sleep during the day.

Back in mid-January 2012, Lloyd and I finally decided to sell our two places and get something where we can live more comfortably together.
